MA Thesis wins Manchester student top prize

Congratulations to University of Manchester postgrad student Ceri Houlbrook (PhD candidate) who has been awarded the President’s Prize of the Folklore Society for her MA dissertation (MA Constructions of the Sacred, Holy and the Supernatural 2010/2011) on the Folklore surrounding Boggart’s Hole Clough in Blakely. Ceri is now studying for a PhD with Tim Insoll within the School of Arts, Histories and Cultures on sacred trees in Britain.
